The Philharmonic and Fireworks!

Bring a picnic, claim a grassy spot and enjoy Big band, Broadway, Western and Patriotic favorites performed by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Associate Conductor Thomas Wilson.

July 4th concert, 2006

The Philharmonic will feature the very talented and well-known Amy Sue Hardy, vocals, the Philharmonic's own Chris Lawson on trumpet and Bron Wright on trombone. The Philharmonic will perform a selection of patriotic favorites including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture complete with booming cannons from a parade battery of 6 Howitzer cannons provided by the 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado. As always, the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
