A Night of Beauty, Betrayal, and Breathtaking Music.

This past weekend, the Pikes Peak Center stage came alive with the soaring emotion of Puccini’s heartbreaking masterpiece. A brilliant cast, breathtaking set design, and the full force of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic brought the story vividly to life—leaving the audience spellbound.

At the helm was conductor Louis Lohraseb, whose love for opera runs deep. That passion was sparked at just three years old after attending a Three Tenors concert—an experience that set him on the path to the podium. His connection to the music was palpable in every sweeping gesture.

Soprano Erica Petrocelli’s rendition of “Un bel dì vedremo” was a standout moment—her voice rising with such grace and power that it drew an audible breath from the crowd. The final notes closed to a standing ovation, the kind that only follows something truly unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of passion, beauty, and music that lingered long after the final note. Were you there? We’d love to hear your favorite moments—share your thoughts or photos and help us keep the magic alive.
