People use math every day – even you! – but it can still show up in unexpected places. Though you may not be thinking about multiplication tables and fractions when you listen to music, the sounds of the orchestra are all about math. It’s what makes each instrument sound different and unique, what composers lean on to write beautiful music, and what helps musicians play together. Come along with us to discover the many surprising ways that Math Meets Music.
- Tickets are $4.50 per person when payment is received by September 11, 2020. $5.00 per person thereafter.
