Hong An

Violinist, Hong An received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Central Conservatory of Music—Beijing, China, and Master of Music from the University of New York (at Stony Brook). She also won a scholarship to study at The Tokyo College of Music in Japan. As a faculty member of the Beijing Conservatory, she concertized extensively as a chamber musician and soloist. She also toured with the Conservatory Orchestra in 10 countries throughout Europe. Since 1992, she has been a member of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra. With more than 30 years of teaching and performance experience, Hong shares her excitement for teaching and performing in the south Denver metro area.
