Jennifer Doersch has been playing horn with the Colorado Springs Symphony and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic since 1982. A native of Minnesota, she attended college at both the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee before moving to Colorado and finishing her music degree at Denver University.
In addition to her current position as 2nd horn with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Jenny is an active horn teacher and free lance musician. She has performed with groups throughout Colorado such as the Denver Brass, Colorado Ballet Orchestra, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Denver Symphony and Colorado Opera Festival.
She and her husband, Randy (United States Air Force Academy Band), will have an “empty nest” soon as their youngest heads off to college in the fall!
