For the safety of our beloved audience and musicians, our concerts thru December 31 cannot go on as planned. It’s a disappointment to cancel these performances, but we have every hope that large scale concerts will be able to resume in January. While this news is saddening to all of us, it represents the safest and most prudent plan to ensure the well-being of the entire community. Please view our FAQs for additional information.

The Colorado Springs Philharmonic has a distinguished tradition of engaging our community through innovative programming and exceptional symphonic performances. To that end, the Philharmonic is committed to creatively explore ways to remain connected to our audiences. For now, we ask for your patience, and for a small gift of time while we lay out plans for the months ahead.

Meanwhile, we need your help. We view the months ahead as a time to look back, take stock, test some ideas, and innovate for the future. And truly, this is a moment for you to get involved. Please take this important survey  In the 3 minutes it takes, you’ll share your candid thoughts on attending a live performance, make suggestions impacting future decisions, and share your words of support for our tenacious musicians and leadership.

I’m constantly encouraged by the generosity of friends who love and appreciate this great symphony orchestra. With your stouthearted support, we’re not giving up! Thus far, we have been incredibly fortunate to receive support from our patrons and donors, as well as our corporate, foundation and community partners. Undoubtably, COVID-19 has had a tremendous economic impact on our organization. Your continued financial contribution will make a critical difference in helping our organization in the coming months.

On behalf of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, thank you for your invaluable friendship and generous spirit. Time and time again, I have been inspired by our resilient community who continues to stand by and support this treasured institution, and its role as a cultural icon of Colorado Springs. I am so proud and grateful to be a part of this wonderful family and I look forward to reconnecting with you very soon.

Warm regards,

Nathan Newbrough
