Chloé Dufresne made her debut as the Colorado Springs Philharmonic’s new music director on July 29th. After two years of anticipation, her arrival was met with a warm, electric welcome.
The night left attendees describing the experience as “fresh,” “inspiring,” and “the start of something remarkable.” With her empathy, deep listening, and human connection, Dufresne’s debut signaled the beginning of a thrilling new era for the Philharmonic.
Sponsor Spotlight: Sovereignty Wines
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic is pleased to announce a sponsorship with Sovereignty Wines, a locally owned and family-run wine boutique known for its expertly curated selection of wines, craft beers, and spirits.
As part of the collaboration, Sovereignty Wines will provide selections for the Philharmonic’s hospitality room during concert intermissions and support select special events, helping to create memorable moments for patrons and guests throughout the 2025-26 season.
Located in the Ivywild neighborhood, Sovereignty Wines has served Colorado Springs for over a decade. The store features the city’s largest climate-controlled walk-in wine cellar and is widely recognized for its knowledgeable staff and personalized service.

The Star Spangled Symphony has been a beloved Colorado Springs tradition for over 50 years, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate what unites us: music, community, and the joy of shared experience.
This 4th of July, the Philharmonic celebrated a new partnership with Ford Amphitheater, VENU Arts and Culture Foundation, and AEG Rocky Mountains.
Community excitement was high, and tickets sold out quickly.
Those lucky enough to attend were treated to performances by School of Rock, District 2’s Harrison High School Band, and of course, the Philharmonic.
CFA: From Classrooms to the Concert Hall
The Center for Future Audiences is turning up the volume with creative programs designed to bring people of all ages closer to the music during the 2025-26 season.
