Philharmonic Receives Colorado Creates FY26 Grant from Colorado Creative Industries

The Colorado Springs Philharmonic has been awarded funding through the 2025 Colorado Creates FY26 Grant Program, administered by Colorado Creative Industries (CCI). The grant will support the Philharmonic’s ongoing efforts to provide exceptional musical performances, educational programs, and community engagement opportunities throughout the Pikes Peak region.

Colorado Creates grants are awarded through a competitive statewide process and provide critical support to arts organizations that contribute to Colorado’s cultural vitality and economic well-being.

“We are honored to receive this support from Colorado Creative Industries,” said Nathan Newbrough, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. “This investment strengthens our ability to serve our community through world-class performances, innovative educational initiatives, and meaningful artistic experiences that connect people through music.”

The grant will help support the Philharmonic’s 99th Season, including performances at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts and Ent Center for the Arts, as well as education and community programs through the Center for Future Audiences. These initiatives serve thousands of students, families, and community members each year across Southern Colorado.

Colorado Creative Industries is a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and serves as the state’s designated arts agency. Through programs like Colorado Creates, CCI invests in arts organizations that enrich communities, support creative economies, and increase access to arts and cultural experiences across Colorado.
