She’s been called a force. Strong-willed. Determined. Tenacious. Hardworking. Gracious.
Since 1975, when Kathleen Fox Collins moved from New York to Colorado Springs she has been a behind-the-scenes advocate of the arts. Along with her service to the community, she worked for the Colorado Springs Symphony among a team of arts and culture pioneers such as Bee Vradenburg, Charles Ansbacher and Christopher Wilkins. Today her wisdom, advice and friendship still guide the Philharmonic. Because of her decades of dedication, generous donors have come together to create the Kathleen Fox Collins Fund and Legacy Challenge. The Fund will be held at the newly developed Colorado Springs Philharmonic Foundation supporting the Philharmonic every year…all in her honor.
Friends of Kathleen Fox Collins have issued a challenge. From now through May 2019, any new and additional donation made to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the group will match dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 to the Foundation. Click here to donate.
