On Saturday, November 1st, the stage of the Pikes Peak Center came alive with the sound of 300 of School District 11’s finest young singers performing alongside the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the baton of Maestro Thomas Wilson, this extraordinary collaboration showcased the power of music to inspire and unite.
For weeks, D11 students and their dedicated teachers prepared tirelessly for this moment. Their hard work and passion paid off in a performance that put smiles on every parent’s face. The sheer energy and beauty of their voices filled the hall, proving that the next generation of musicians is ready to carry the torch forward.
This event was made possible through the partnership between the Philharmonic’s Center for Future Audiences, led by Joye Levy, and D11’s Visual and Performing Arts & Athletics Facilitator, Kim Kincaid. Both expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of everyone involved in creating this unforgettable experience for our community and its emerging artists.
