Four Big Announcements

It seems like a dream now, remembering February 2020 and the last notes performed by the Philharmonic. It was an unforgettable night with violinist Itzhak Perlman performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto for a sold-out house. When it was over, there were tears onstage and in the audience because that one magical night was a transformative feast of music and emotion. For many of us, we’ll never forget the feeling, especially when we reflect on what came after.

Flash forward, and today there is so much to celebrate! Here are four announcements we’ve all been waiting for.

  1. The Philharmonic is Back and it is Live. A long-term agreement has been reached with the musicians’ union that brings musicians together with audience once again. This is a huge win for the music lovers of Colorado Springs, who have waited patiently for the Philharmonic’s momentous return.
