My friends, I’m so proud to share two thrilling developments with you and my thanks for the unwavering passion and kindness that you have shown.
1. A symphonic legacy and challenge
In a heartfelt tribute, Kathleen Fox Collins prepared a legacy gift of $100,000 to our Permanent Endowment. What better way to reaffirm her faith in the monumental artistry and value our musicians bring to the community.
Challenge Accepted! We have taken up the challenge to match Kathleen’s legacy gift. Any new or increased gift to the Philharmonic’s general fund will qualify to match the $100,000 challenge.
Give now!
2. A promise for the future
After years of careful stewardship, the Bee Vradenburg Foundation has transferred $558,000 to the Philharmonic’s Permanent Endowment. The aptly named “Bee Vradenburg Fund” (previously known as the Symphonic Music Fund*), will ensure ongoing support, helping to guarantee our promise to continue delivering world-class performances today, and for generations.
The Philharmonic Foundation, dear friends, isn’t merely a bank account—it’s a promise. It’s a testament to the ongoing dedication to excellence, innovation, and connection with our remarkable audience.
