- Peter and the Wolf — October 31 & November 1, 2018 — meet the different instruments of the orchestra and discover how their many tones and colors bring characters and stories to life.
- Link Up: The Orchestra Moves — February 20 & 21, 2019 — a national program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, pairs the Colorado Springs Philharmonic with students grades 3-5 to experience orchestral repertoire through a FREE hands-on music curriculum. Participating students explore how music moves us inside and out, and play and sing alongside the Colorado Springs Philharmonic in a culminating, interactive concert experience.
We are proud to offer local school orchestras and bands the opportunity to play under the baton of Music Director Josep Caballé-Domenech or Associate Conductor Thomas Wilson in a school-day rehearsal. Both conductors work with young players and share their insights into the process and joys of making great music come to life.
