Maestra (2023) is a documentary following five diverse female orchestral conductors competing in La Maestra, the world’s only all-female competition in Paris, revealing their personal struggles with sexism, balancing family, and breaking into the male-dominated field, showcasing their shared passion, sisterhood, and determination to lead in classical music despite systemic barriers.
