Designed to meet curricular standards, these unique performances are more than just concerts—they’re transformative experiences. Your students will not only enjoy world-class music but will be introduced to Sergei Prokofiev’s playful composition for symphonic and spoken word performance that he created for his own son in 1936.
Prokofiev has given us a most charming tale of a young boy’s adventures in the meadow behind his grandfather’s house that both tells a story and cleverly teaches children about recognizing musical themes and instruments.
Teachers will receive pre and post show materials up to one month in advance when they make their ticket payments in advance of the show.
