Marianne Monoc

Marianne Monoc, Vice President for Philanthropy

In 2021, Marianne Monoc relocated to Colorado Springs from Chattanooga, TN where she worked for PBS.  An Army brat, she has lived in many different cities in both Europe and the United States, but Colorado is the place that she calls home and she is thrilled to be back.

Marianne holds a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MS in Nonprofit Management from LSU.  She is also a Certified Event Planner.  Interning for a women’s center in college dramatically altered her career trajectory from corporate law to social work and she quickly transitioned to nonprofit management and development roles, including work in private foundations.  She has spent 25 years in the nonprofit sector and has had extensive experience in the fields of animal welfare, disabilities, health care, and public media.

Marianne serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and volunteers as a marketing and graphic design consultant for the Windham County Humane Society.  She is obsessed with both hiking and crossfit and occasionally runs a 5k.  In her free time, she voraciously reads and confesses to being an Audible junkie.  She lives in the Pulpit Rock neighborhood with her husband John and four rescue dogs, Daphne, Scrappy, Bailey, and Wally.
