Long a celebration of towering musical achievements, encouraging deep contemplation and celestial passions the El Pomar Foundation Masterworks season begins aptly with Gustav Holst’s The Planets. The Penrose-St. Francis Health Services Philharmonic Pops series has something for every musical taste in popular music, from hard-charging rock to a glamorous, soulful evening of Aretha Franklin. And returning with some of our very favorite guest performers, the Al and Leigh Buettner Signature Series promises to delight the most avid classical devotee. True music lovers cannot miss the one-night-only appearance of the international superstar Itzhak Perlman performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto on February 27, 2020, tickets available now only to subscribers.
