District Night
Witness the transformative power of your district’s arts programs as we turn the Pikes Peak Center into a multi-stage showcase. These exclusive seasonal events are dedicated to a single school district, featuring premier choirs, bands, and ensembles performing throughout the venue before and after the main Philharmonic concert. It is a prestigious platform to highlight the diverse musical excellence thriving within your schools for a community-wide audience.
District Choir Festival
Elevate your entire music program by placing your students on center stage with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. This exclusive annual collaboration is awarded to only one partner district per year, pairing student excellence with professional artistry under the baton of Maestro Thomas Wilson.
This premier event celebrates the musical growth of your district by featuring elementary, middle, and high school levels. It is a unique opportunity to showcase the hard work and progression of students across all grade levels as they perform sophisticated repertoire alongside a professional ensemble.
Nightcaps
Celebrate the next generation of Colorado Springs musicians through our “Nightcap” series. This unique program bridges the gap between professional and student performance by inviting local ensembles to perform for Philharmonic patrons immediately following a concert. It’s a high-visibility opportunity for your school to highlight its hard work and talent in a vibrant, community-focused atmosphere.
Conductor in the Classroom
Elevate your music program with Conductor in the Classroom, a premier opportunity for your ensembles to rehearse under the baton of Music Director Chloe Dufresne, Associate Conductor Thomas Wilson, or one of our world-renowned guest artists.
This high-impact experience is offered as an exclusive perk for our district and school partners who participate in District Night or serve as Lobby Performers. It is our way of deepening the collaborative bond with the educators and students who support the Philharmonic.

Open Rehearsals
Step inside the rehearsal room for an intimate look at how a world-class performance comes together. Our Open Rehearsals are a perfect “Principal’s Night Out” or a specialized appreciation event for your district’s leadership team. Attendees will get a front-row seat to the communication and artistry that define the Philharmonic, all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Space is strictly limited—contact the CFA to reserve an evening for your district.
Philharmonic CARES
Experience the Philharmonic as our guest! Through this special partnership initiative, we offer a limited number of “last-minute” complimentary tickets to district employees when additional seating is available. Notifications are sent directly to partner districts during the week of a performance, providing a spontaneous opportunity for teachers and staff to enjoy a night of professional artistry at the Pikes Peak Center.

Music Educator of the Year
Celebrate the extraordinary impact of your district’s music teachers with our “Music Educator of the Year” award. We partner with district leadership to recognize one outstanding educator who goes above and beyond for their students. Whether selected by peers, community survey, or district leaders, the winner will be honored on stage during a Philharmonic concert and receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the concert series of their choice.
Grant Writing Support
Don’t let budget constraints limit your students’ potential. The Philharmonic partners with districts to identify and apply for local, state, and federal grants specifically designated for the performing arts. By combining our organizational reach with your district’s vision, we create compelling, collaborative proposals that bring additional funding and instruments into your classrooms.
Education and Policy Research Advocacy
Strengthen your district’s arts mandate with professional advocacy support. We provide research-backed insights into the cognitive and social benefits of music education, helping you communicate the value of your programs to stakeholders and board members. Let us help you stay ahead of policy changes and advocate for the resources your students deserve.
